Children will love these fun, garden- and nature-related stories. Each week features a different story followed by a simple craft. Please note that some story times may be held outside.

Formally known as Explora World in Columbia off Dobbin road is giving a Homeschooling discount of 25% with proof of homeschooling. Many Pathsof Natural Learning membership card or MHRN membership cards are accepted.

Discover the music of the Middle Ages and explore the musical instruments of the ancient world. Join us as we listen to the music of different periods, listen to the role musicians and their music played in society, and then make your own instruments. Looks like music - sounds like fun!

BAPA Imagination Stage ! The teacher-artists at Imagination Stage are dedicated to nurturing the creativity of every student in a supportive classroom environment. The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore offers a series of educational programs for Home School students. Sign up for as many sessions as you like, but be aware that space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registration for these programs begins on August 1. Call to check on

The Goddard Space Flight Center will be opening its doors from 1000 AM -600 PM on Sat 31 Jul 04 for families to enjoy food, live entertainment, rocket and robotics demos, facilities tours, and hands-on educational opportunities. Maryland Ice Skating - Piney Orchard Call for Ice-skating schedule
We can offer "Learn To Skate Classes" that includes 30 minutes of instruction and rental skate. Each "Class Series" will be 5 session for $55 per student for the series. We can start the first Series on January 9th. Please let me know if your Home-schoolers would be interested in this program.

College Park Aviation Museum The museum includes an open 1˝ story exhibit area which highlights a display of unique aircraft and objects relating the history of early aviation at the College Park Airport. The museum regularly updates its exhibits and offers new programs every day. Events include model and kite-making workshops, aviation crafts, a Santa Fly-In, Flight Night for Halloween and the Peter Pan Club for three to five year olds. Adults enjoy regularly scheduled lectures by aviation experts and the Hollywood Flyers Film Series. The museum houses a non-circulating library available to visitors for research and browsing during regular museum hours. Sign in at the front desk for access.
